The metal-encased tip is stabilized with a stainless steel tube, making it ideal for use with rulers and templates. Water-based inks are suitable for documentary use according to ink standard ISO 14145-2 while the cap-off ink does not run dry even if the cap is removed for 2-3 days. The ergonomically shaped, rubberized barrel provides a secure hold and helps reduce hand fatigue during longer writing sessions.
