I skipped longevity because I use pens 11 hours a day 44 hours a week, which is why I but erasable, refillable pens. These are great. I will definitely purchase again once I wear the eraser down. I would have given them 5 starts, but the erase not being on the cap is odd and inconvenient.I bought these for my girlfriend because she absolutely loves them but she couldn’t find locally.From what I understand the ink is heat sensitive so when you rub the eraser on the ink it causes friction (heat) resulting in the heat sensitive ink to disappear, genius!The eraser doesn’t tear up or roll the paper it leaves it as smooth as when you started.However, I’m not sure how it will hold up after it’s has been sitting in a hot car for any length of time.And yes I am testing it out In my car now.I use these taking notes at home. Handy to be able to erase and rewrite. Great for your log or pass book no more crossing out or white out.PILOT FriXion Ball Erasable & Refillable Gel Ink Stick Pens, Fine Point, Assorted Color Inks are great pens. A true 0.7mm fine point. Comfortable in your hand, and erase perfectly.The pens especially the green are very light. You have to bare down on them. The darker colors are better.I wish they would make a fine point version and that the ink would last longer. I’m a math teacher and hate the feel of pencils so this is a nice alternative, however, I go through a of these a semester.Nice priceOk, it might not be exactly like that, but once I learned about the various Friction pens and markers, I became an unofficial tester!So far, this style is my favorite for comfort grip, smooth inkflow, and works great with my Rocket book.My two minor complaints are that the lighter colors seem scratchier and more watery so they don't show up as well. I hope they come out with more colors!I love these pens and love even more that you can buy refills for them. I'd rather not buy a whole new pen when the ink runs out if I can help it - buying just the refill I'm hoping will mean less plastic to recycle. The pens themselves hold up well and I'm not sure how it works but the erasers don't get worn down. They write like a nice, smooth fountain pen and erase cleanly every time. I am a pen snob and am so happy I discovered these pens and refills!Daughter liked these pens.I am not giving 5 stars as I ordered a pack of 8 expecting to receive what is on the photo of this product but received 8 single pens in an envelope instead.Very disappointed with this ... the pens came loose - no pouch. This means I have to buy a little pancil case for them, as they are a gift for someone.These pens are a god send. I use them for sewing, marking fabrics etc and because they just iron off I don’t need to worry about any marks in fabrics. Makes tailors chalk a thing of the past.Lovely to write with & easy to erase
