Premium Parker Set of 2 Galaxy Ballpoint Pens with Black Ink (Medium Point) - Red & Blue Body Colors - Perfect for Office, School & Gift Giving

Essentially a licensed version of the Parker 45 ballpoint (made in India by Luxor) there are many noticeable differences when you compare this model to a Parker-made Pen.- Clip is stamped and thinner metal, “feather” engraving on arrow is just shallow stamping. Noticeable mid-clip flex - will deform easily.- Plastic threads inside cap (no surprise). Click mechanism is solid though, good feedback and no “half clicks.l- Cap finish is an inconsistent blotchy brushed, not a uniformly frosted look on true 45s. Material is thinner than expected.- GT Clip is finished in a rougher-feeling, duller gold plating than on Parker’s with GT Made in France, UK or USA.- Barrel color is not Parker’s blue but a purplish royal blue color instead.- Refill is branded Parker but no country of origin but does carry “quinkflow” label. Performance is acceptable.In the end this seems to be a $3 Chinese Pen not a $9-10 Parker equivalent. Ball point is medium, but doesn't roll as nice as their roller ball version.It's a little shorter than the regular Parker pens and I like that BUT it's FINE POINT and I prefer medium point. A little disappointed. It doesn't say on the package if its fine point or medium point.Excellent... the only drawback is that they took 3weeks to get here!!I never had any experience with the Parker Galaxy pens, so my expectations were minimal. I was pleasantly surprised by the simplicity of the packaging and how it can be reused if desired. Secondly, the quality of the pens are decent and light allowing me to use all day long without causing any discomfort or cramping. I received one blue pen and one red pen and I received the package quickly. If anyone is looking for a reliable set of pens please do consider these pens.
